Description:As a Quality Inspector, you will support test activities across multiple Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) areas at the Littleton, CO facility. The current primary program supported will be GPS. You will be performing critical inspections and working collaboratively with multi-functional teams to execute final assembly and testing.
By working collaboratively with a team of world class technicians and engineers, our team ensures that the quality and continuous improvement is built into every level of the test process. You will also work collaboratively to resolve test anomalies, work to become an expert on requirements and specifications, and interact with the customer as needed. You will be an integral part of ensuring our dedication to 100% mission success is upheld.
Typical role responsibilities include:
• Providing a variety of inspections on components as directed by procedures
• interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to execute test activities and determine if non-conformances exist
• Perform a variety of test preparation, in process, verification and post test tasks based on certifications, responsible areas, and work load
• Engage with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the test cycle to eliminate quality control issues
• Prepare electronic documentation on nonconforming hardware. (Qnote)
• This position occasionally requires working off shifts, non-standard work weeks and overtime as needed to complete test campaigns on schedule.
Basic Qualifications:• US Citizenship required with active Interim Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Proficiency in using inspection tools for mechanical and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Previous experience in a test or manufacturing environment
Desired Skills:1) SAP/ERP experience
2) Previous industry related certifications to include:
• Hardware Torqueing
• Connector Mate/Demate
• Cable Harness Inspection
• Solder Inspection
3) Previous experience in a quality role

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,800 - $91,310. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
