Responsibilities

  • Perform general floor inspections on production parts throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, nonconformities, or cosmetic issues on parts.
  • Use precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, micro gauges, and hand gauges to verify part dimensions.
  • Complete first piece, first article, and last piece inspections to validate production runs against specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine required dimensions, tolerances, and inspection criteria.
  • Document inspection results accurately and clearly, following established quality procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience inspecting injection molded components is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with general quality inspection practices in an open shop environment.
  • Ability to adapt to working around machinery while maintaining focus on quality.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly report inspection findings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
