We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Engineer with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the agricultural, automotive, and fluid power markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Salem, IN.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Establish, maintain, coordinate and develop continuous improvements objectives related to implementing and maintaining ISO 9000, Management Review, and any other additional customer quality requirements
-Ensure Quality System integrity by direct involvement with all APQP and PPAP activities. This includes all responsibility to maintain and up-date all customer APQP documents and any other customer directed process.
-Attend regular APQP meetings internally with team members to up-date status Maintain visual communication board on PPAP status and new launch information.
-Responsible to maintain, monitor, and report monthly on activities for the plant results.
-Customer Quality contact for all APQP quality deliverables for all program launches.
Target Qualifications:
● Bachelors degree preferred
● 2+ years experience as a Quality Engineer
● Experience in a plant manufacturing environment
● Good communication skills
