Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer II to join their team. As a Quality Engineer II, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer II

Location: Marlborough, MA

Pay Range: $44.13

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

  • Support daily manufacturing quality needs, including investigations of nonconforming events and rework approvals
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues to ensure product compliance and safety
  • Review equipment records, conduct out-of-tolerance investigations, and ensure validation and calibration standards are met
  • Assist in developing and reviewing process FMEAs, CAPAs, and validation activities for new product introductions
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other relevant standards to uphold quality management systems

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quality role within the medical device industry
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and cGMP standards
  • Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA processes, and equipment controls
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with quality management systems and data analysis tools
