Quality Engineer (Entry-Level)

This entry-level Quality Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to launch your engineering career by applying core engineering theory and principles within a regulated product development environment. Working closely alongside a Senior Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience supporting compliance, documentation, and quality assurance activities across new product development initiatives.


Job Responsibilities: In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the Quality Engineering department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with a Senior Engineer to provide support and coverage across tasks and deliverables
  • Supporting and executing equipment and tooling Installation Qualifications (IQ)
  • Observing, logging, and communicating defects identified on the production line
  • Updating procedures, drawings, and related documentation as applicable
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas in collaboration with management and engineering staff to establish quality and reliability standards


Essential Job Duties and Functions:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and established systems and procedures
  • Contribute to quality assurance efforts throughout the new product development lifecycle
  • Accurately document findings and maintain up-to-date engineering records
  • Communicate quality observations and concerns clearly and in a timely manner


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Proficiency with computer applications and engineering software, including Computer Aided Design (CAD)


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis tools required
  • CAD experience preferred
