This is a critical role within NOV ISE where you will review and determine the acceptability of submissions from suppliers in relation to proposed material for the use in the manufacture of ISE components for various product lines and facilities globally. The role will involve liaison with internal facility and/or product line experts who will offer guidance and support when required, however this is a role in which you are expected to make decisions without the need for constant supervision and support requests. This role offers the opportunity to use and develop technical knowledge and decision making skills while also operating within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and determine acceptance of submitted material test reports and other supporting documentation against product line, regulatory and other requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, mainly engineering, purchasing and/or Quality when required for any queries related to material submissions
  • Act as the primary decision maker on submitted requests from suppliers.
  • Resolve any basic issues or discrepancies with supplier submissions
  • Careful manage priorities in line with each facilities requirements (when supplied), ensuring efficient and accurate processing of supplier submissions.
  • Monitor and report any observable trends in supplier performance (increase in issues, increase in rejections, increase in queries, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance to with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
