Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to lead and oversee our team in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and production specifications. This role requires a proactive individual who can guide employees, audit work processes, and maintain effective relationships across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to ensure production specifications are met.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees, directing them to the appropriate manager for policy questions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures. Report any problems or hazardous situations to management.
  • Inspect products and shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and shipments as necessary.
  • Identify and report opportunities for continual improvement.
  • Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments to align production activities.
  • Coordinate or perform training for new employees and contract workers to ensure understanding of safety, quality, and production requirements.
  • Ensure the 'Quality Policy and Objectives' are understood and achieved.
  • Provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and review work for accuracy.
  • Update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system, and manage attendance transactions.
Essential Skills
  • Supervision and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Proficiency in technology including computers and software such as MS Office and MAC word processing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in the print industry, specifically in pre-press, RFID imaging, flexography, or print production.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oakdale, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $87360.00/yr.
