Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to implement and oversee the entire Quality Control (QC) program. This role involves attending various meetings, conducting QC meetings, performing the three phases of the quality control process, reviewing and approving submittals, and ensuring that all testing is conducted in compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the entire QC program.
• Attend post-award conferences, CQC plan meetings, and coordination and mutual understanding meetings.
• Conduct CQC meetings regularly.
• Perform the three phases of the quality control process.
• Review and approve submittals.
• Ensure that testing is performed according to standards.

• 7 years of experience within construction, including 3 years specifically in a QC role.
• Proficiency in quality control and OSHA compliance.
• Experience with federal construction and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects.
• Possession of a degree (not necessarily AEC related).
• Certification from the Army Corps of Engineers in Construction Quality Management (QCM).

• Experience with large projects.
• Background in historical preservation.
• General Contractor (GC) experience.

This role is based on a construction site. The initial shift will be during the night, from 8 PM to 5 AM for four days a week, eventually transitioning to a day shift. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Washington, DC.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
