Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead our QC organization in support of ongoing enrichment operations and the ACPx expansion project. In this key leadership role, you will ensure our QC team is fully qualified, equipped, and empowered to perform inspections, testing, and oversight activities that uphold our Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) and implementing procedures.
You’ll manage a talented team of QC professionals, collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and project management, and help shape the systems, processes, and culture that drive safe, compliant, and efficient performance across the site.
What You Will Do:
• Ensure QC staffing is aligned with site goals and project needs
• Develop and manage departmental budget, resources, and materials
• Recruit, mentor, and coach QC personnel to support growth and capability development
• Oversee inspections and testing to verify components and systems meet quality standards and specifications
• Develop, implement, and improve QC procedures and plans to increase efficiency and reduce defects
• Ensure QC instrumentation is available, adequate, calibrated, and updated as needed
• Provide training to employees to ensure compliance with QC processes
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvement actions
• Lead development and implementation of corrective actions for identified nonconformances
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve performance
• Participate in internal audits, supplier audits, and management assessments
• Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and standards
• Report safety, security, and quality issues promptly and take action to stop unsafe or noncompliant work
• Develop and maintain organizational policies, procedures, and training materials supporting the QAPD
• Provide QC oversight for purchased items and Post Maintenance Testing (PMT)
• Communicate significant scope, cost, or schedule impacts to management
• Interface with outside contractors, suppliers, and third‑party vendors
• Conduct over‑inspections of Level I and Level II personnel
• Manage and evaluate third‑party NDT programs
• Support interactions with regulators (NRC, DOE) during inspections and assessments
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
• Perform duties safely and in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations
Decision-Making and Impact
• Make informed decisions affecting acceptance and use of quality‑critical items
• Collaborate daily with the Inspector Qualification Manager and QC Supervisors; report programmatically to the Quality Manager
• Interpret drawing and specification requirements and provide recommendations to management and engineering
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining attention to detail
• Work effectively across levels—from peers and management to external auditors and regulators
• Communicate findings, status, procedures, and requirements clearly and confidently
What You'll Bring:
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent nuclear experience
• 6–10 years of industrial or nuclear‑related experience
• Nuclear experience in a supervisory or management capacity
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe tools
What Will Help You Stand Out:
• Current DOE “Q” or “L” clearance
• Previous experience at an NRC‑regulated site
• Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical discipline
• Working knowledge of NRC/DOE regulations
• Military experience

In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
