About the Company
The Bachanʼs journey began with our founder Justinʼs family recipe for Japanese Barbecue Sauce, which has been passed down for generations. Justin and his parents learned it from his Bachan (aka grandma). In 2019, Justin launched The Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce, and to this day, we honor this commitment to flavor as we have expanded our portfolio of products. Our mission is to bring people together through bold, fresh, umami flavor and the joy of connecting over food.
