Quality Control Laboratory Technician

We are actively hiring a Quality Technician II for a leading pharmaceutical environment in Durham.

If you have hands-on experience in QC testing, environmental monitoring, and investigations, this is a great opportunity to grow within a GMP-regulated setting.

• 📅 Duration: 12-month contract (potential extension)

✅ What You’ll Do

• Perform QC laboratory testing (microbiology & analytical)
• Conduct environmental monitoring (air, water, surface)
• Handle investigations (deviations, CAPA, OOS)
• Execute tests like bioburden, sterility, endotoxin, TOC, Gram staining
• Manage samples, inventory, and documentation (GMP/LIMS)
• Support validation, equipment qualification, and product release

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
• 2–3 years of pharma experience (required)
• Strong background in investigations + QC testing
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with CAPA, change control, validation
• Exposure to manufacturing/sterilization environments
• Strong documentation and data integrity skills
