Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist – Healthcare

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist reviews clinical charts to ensure the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role combines meticulous data review with general office support and the use of Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Review clinical charts and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with protocols and quality standards.
  • Support quality assurance activities, including identifying discrepancies and following up to resolve issues.
  • Perform a range of office-related tasks using Microsoft Office software, including preparing documents, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Use computer systems and electronic records to access, review, and update clinical and regulatory documentation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members regarding findings, questions, and quality-related concerns.

Essential Skills

  • Experience or strong interest in quality assurance within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong data review and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare settings and medical documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree, preferably in a healthcare, science, or related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance (QA) or data review in healthcare.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ORLANDO, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
