Description:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead day-to-day operations of assigned clinic location(s) to ensure proficient and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic; ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Effectively lead,trainand develop a team of employees including hiring,trainingand development, etc.Promotes personal growth/development andunderstanding among colleagues.
Presents problems in a professional manner and helps coordinate solutions inter-departmentally.Creatively seeks solutions to existing problems as well as potential problems. Creatively implements solutions to problems.
Creatively seeksnew ideasto stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care delivered.
Ensures charging/ reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team.
Assistswith documentation audits.
Partners withthe MedicalDirectorto ensure successwithin the clinic.
Prepares,monitors, and adjusts budget.
Develops,implementsandmonitorsclinicobjectives,processes,procedures, standards, and educational programs in conjunction with the mission and the philosophy of MercyOne Medical Group.
Works collaboratively withMedical Group Administration and other leaders to develop, evaluate andmonitorstandard processes based on bestpractices.
Develops andmaintainsquality assurance programs,i.e.nursing, accounting.
Proactively analyzes clinic operations toidentifybarriers or new opportunities.
Directs the maintenance ofthe physicalenvironment and equipment.
Serves asa liaisonbetween physicians andMedical GroupAdministration, promoting understanding and agreementin regard tofuture goals.
Directs, motivates, and evaluates activities of clinic employees, ensuring that clinic goals and expectations are met.
Ensures the impact of constant change is positive in nature to employees, patients, and physicians
Directs clinic incomplying withapplicable laws and regulationsrelativeto clinic operations (i.e.OSHA, CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, Stark, etc.).
Ensures that patient concerns areaddressed,and thatappropriateandtimelyfollow-up is performed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, health administration, or related fieldrequired; or enrolled in aBachelor’sDegreeprogram and actively pursuing. In limited circumstances, internal candidates’ MercyOne leadership experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements at the sole discretion of MercyOne Medical Group senior leadership.
Preferred experience working in an organization of comparable size and complexity, preferably in healthcare.
Experience managing colleagues in a healthcare setting preferred
Experience working with physicians and advance practice providers preferred
Mustdemonstrateexcellent communication skills in both verbal and written form.
