Rate: $145-$165k, +per diem, car stipend & bonus

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support large-scale, complex construction projects by driving the execution of a comprehensive Quality Control Program (QCP). This role partners closely with site operations teams and provides leadership, oversight, and hands-on support across multiple job sites to ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction lifecycle.

The Quality Control Manager will mentor QC staff, perform site audits, manage documentation, and serve as a key quality advocate for both internal teams and clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and train Quality Control Associates and assigned site operations team members
  • Support project teams in executing a structured Quality Control Program across all project phases (Planning, Preparatory, Initial, and Inspection)
  • Develop and submit site-specific quality control plans for larger or more complex projects
  • Conduct routine site audits and inspections, identifying strengths, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate daily QC meetings or huddles to align on inspections, activities, and compliance
  • Create inspection templates, meeting agendas, and field work order (FOW) documentation
  • Track, document, and manage all quality control records, including third-party inspections and test reports
  • Ensure all CSA and MEP quality documentation is complete, accurate, and uploaded into Procore or client-required platforms
  • Gather and analyze quality performance metrics, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly QC status reports to senior leadership
  • Support commissioning documentation and collaborate with MEP managers and superintendents
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with all quality control participation requirements
  • Promote safe work practices and integrate safety standards throughout the QC process
  • Participate in project progress meetings and client meetings as the primary quality representative


Qualifications:

-2+ years supporting data centers

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline

-5+ years of experience in construction quality control or quality management on commercial projects

-Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, inspections, and commissioning processes

-Experience managing QA/QC documentation and reporting in Procore or similar platforms

-Ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders

-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across multiple active job sites

-OSHA 10 certification preferred; CQM certification a plus
