The Role
This role is for a Quality Assurance Engineer within Leo's Commerce organization, which builds the software and business solutions that power the customer eCommerce experience.
Within this team, you will focus on quality assurance for the financial and transactional workflows that support Leo's commerce operations. This includes validating the accuracy and integrity of backend processes related to billing, payments, and subscription management. The systems you test directly influence revenue-critical data and reporting.
This is a precision-driven, systems-focused QA role. You will own structured end-to-end test strategies for complex business logic rather than front-end interfaces or network communication services. You will also leverage AI and automation to continuously expand test coverage, improve efficiency, and deliver higher quality outcomes for our customers. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data and multi-step workflows are essential.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for Leo's financial and transactional backend services, ensuring accuracy and integrity across billing, payments, and subscription workflows.
- Drive automation of test coverage to enable continuous validation and regression testing at scale.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and finance stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain a high quality bar for every release, with a focus on precision and data accuracy in revenue-critical systems.
About the team
Our team owns developing the frontend architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services; for example identity and account management, subscriber management services, user provisioning, billing and payments, customer and technical support tools, offer management tools, and customer metrics and analytics.
Basic Qualifications- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 1+ years of experience in automation testing
- 1+ years of experience in manual testing
- 1+ years of experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- 1+ years of experience measuring software qualityPreferred Qualifications- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
