Marquette is recruiting for a hospitality focused QMA to join our team in Assisted Living (PRN)! The Assisted Living QMA is responsible for assisting the nursing staff with passing medication, activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, answering resident call lights, and more! If you are looking for a PRN position, look no further! 

Here are a few other daily responsibilities of a QMA:

• Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs. The medication aide who prepares the medicine administers same. 
• Assists with obtaining and providing meals, setting up meals, and providing hydration. 
• Makes bed, restocks room. organize resident closets and personal items.
• Transport residents via WC to and from activities, worship services, beauty shop, and on-campus appointments.
• Any other duties assigned by the Nurse on duty or Unit Manager. 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified in the State of Indiana as a Qualified Medication Aide.
• Practical knowledge of QMA duties and ability to assist residents with ADL's.
• Ability to use initiative and good judgment in determining the needs of both staff and residents.
• 1 year or more of experience working in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care.
