Compensation:
- QC Associate / Junior Inspector: $65K – $90K
- QC Inspector: ~$105K + $10K vehicle allowance + bonus
- QC Manager: ~$115K + $10K vehicle allowance + bonus
Overview / Job Description
A leading construction firm specializing in large-scale data center and mission-critical projects is hiring across multiple levels of Quality Control (QC) professionals. These roles support the planning, implementation, and execution of project-specific quality control programs in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Candidates will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all construction activities meet contract specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and/or lead the implementation of site-specific Quality Control (QC) programs
- Execute the Four Phases of Control (Planning, Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up Inspections)
- Develop and maintain Features of Work (FOW) tied to project schedules
- Perform field inspections, documenting compliance with plans, specs, and codes
- Review and validate incoming materials against submittals and specifications
- Track deficiencies, punch list items, and ensure timely corrective action
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party inspectors
- Maintain QC logs, reports, and full project documentation
- Participate in progress meetings, pre-installation meetings, and client updates
- Support commissioning activities and closeout documentation with MEP teams
- Interface directly with clients and internal leadership on QC status
Required Skills
(Leveling will be based on years of experience and project exposure)
Associate Level:
- 2+ years of construction or QC experience
- Exposure to QC processes, inspections, or project coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Inspector Level:
- Experience performing field inspections and writing QC reports
- Background in data center, energy, manufacturing, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong blueprint reading and documentation skills
- Experience using tools like Procore and Bluebeam
Manager Level:
- Experience leading QC programs on mid-to-large scale construction projects
- Ability to develop site-specific QC plans and manage full lifecycle QC processes
- Strong coordination across project teams and client stakeholders
All Levels:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- USACE CQM Certification (active or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred for senior roles)
- Knowledge of CSA and MEP systems
- Familiarity with building codes, NFPA-70E, and NEC
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Plusses
- Data center or AWS (DCA environments) experience
- Electrical QC experience or MEP-focused background
- Commissioning exposure
- Experience on hyperscale or mission-critical builds
- Prior experience working in high-compliance or regulated environments
- Proficiency with construction management platforms (Procore, Bluebeam)
