QC Chemistry Lab Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a QC Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of food ingredients through rigorous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming raw materials and samples into the QC Analytical lab.
  • Prepare samples for and conduct GC, density, viscosity, and pH testing on malt and food ingredients.
  • Enter data in LIMS, SAGE, and other computer systems.
  • Perform minor statistical analysis on data and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Lab Manager on all QA testing for raw materials and product release.
  • Participate in special projects and investigations to support manufacturing.
  • Ensure proper documentation and HACCP controls are maintained.
  • Maintain the lab, stock and order supplies, clean glassware, and oversee lab operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Analytical Chemistry knowledge.
  • Experience in a high throughput lab environment.
  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
