Python Developer

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Hands-on experience building APIs with FastAPI
• Experience working in a cloud environment:
• AWS (preferred) Or Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

A Brief Overview

A major client of Insight Global is seeking a Python Developer with strong experience building APIs using FastAPI and deploying applications in a cloud environment. This individual will play a key role in developing scalable backend services, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving Python best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Build scalable, high-performance backend services to support business applications
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead and engineering team on architecture and solution design
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following Python best practices
• Integrate APIs with cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability
