Position Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations. In this role, you will oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of goods and services while driving cost savings, ensuring supply chain efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with deep knowledge of procurement best practices and a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies to secure high-quality materials, products, and services at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors while building and maintaining strong strategic relationships.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, bidding processes, and contract administration.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement cost-control measures to optimize working capital and reduce expenses.
  • Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and supplier performance to identify savings opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Utilize ERP systems and procurement tools to track orders, generate reports, and improve process efficiency.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices, inventory management, and vendor risk assessment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
