HSE Engineer / EHS Coordinator (Safety Supervisor)
Location: Humble, TX 77396
Compensation: 60K to 75K/ year DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 Hrs/Week)

Overview
We are looking for a Purchasing Analyst with experience in industrial procurement,capable of managing supplier coordination, quotations, and purchasing processes in amanufacturing environment. Experience with SAP and ISO 9001 is highly valued. The successful candidate will execute and support purchasing activities for internal users to ensure the timely procurement of materials, supplies, spare parts, and services, in compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, delivery requirements, and ISO 9001 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Sourcing
  • Ensure the supply of raw materials, packaging, consumables, and spare parts forthe Houston plant, both locally and through imports.
  • Request, analyze, and compare supplier quotations to select the most suitableoption based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Support the acquisition of goods and services according to internal requirements.
  • Issue purchase recommendations and support purchase order decisions.

Supplier Management
  • Evaluate the performance of critical suppliers based on: Product quality, Deliverytimes, Claims and non-conformities
  • Identify supplier improvement opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Search for, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure supply continuity and costoptimization.

Coordination & Follow-up
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure deliveries meet quality, quantity, and deliverytime requirements.
  • Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or quality issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding order status.
Systems & Compliance
  • Support and maintain purchasing processes in accordance with ISO 9001requirements.
  • Generate, modify, and validate purchasing-related documentation and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in: Business Administration, International Business,Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Equivalent education and relevant purchasing experience will be considered.
Experience
  • 1+ year of experience (including internships or entry-level roles) in: Purchasing,Procurement, Supply chain operations
  • Experience purchasing industrial supplies, spare parts, or electrical/mechanicalmaterials preferred.
  • Experience with imports is a plus.

Technical Knowledge
  • Purchasing and procurement processes

  • ISO 9001 purchasing requirements
  • ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Microsoft Office – intermediate level

Languages
  • Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish is required

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Per Year
