Overview
The Purchasing Agent supports the Purchasing team in meeting and exceeding departmental and company objectives. This role ensures production materials and components are available on time and in the correct quantities to support the production schedule.

Qualifications
Two or more years of related experience, with bachelor’s degree ORfive or more years of related experience required.
Experience in inventory control, master scheduling, or production planning is a plus.
Experience with an integrated manufacturing planning system is very beneficial.
Must be proficient with the use of the applications in Microsoft Office.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to operate independently.
Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Must have good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Candidate must be comfortable in both a factory and office environment as position requires equal time in both.
Relevant purchasing/planning experience.
Understanding of MRP principles.
Ability to strategically plan and drive process improvements.
The hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
