Punch Press Operator

Punch Press Operator – 1st Shift (Union Shop) with the potential to make up to $28/hour in the first 2 years!

Full-Time | Union Position | Long-Term Stability

We’re looking for a Punch Press Operator to join our metal stamping team. You’ll set up and run punch presses producing washers and other precision metal parts. This is a solid, steady job in a union shop with clear pay progression, strong benefits, and long-term employment.

• Set up and operate punch presses safely
• Run metal stamping jobs (punching, forming, bending, blanking)
• Read blueprints and work instructions
• Check parts using basic measuring tools
• Keep production running efficiently once trained
• Make minor adjustments and troubleshoot as needed
• Inspect parts to ensure quality
• Help with other shop equipment when needed

• Punch press or metal stamping experience
• Ability to read prints and measure parts (±0.005")
• Basic shop math skills
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Good attendance and attention to detail
• Willing to get required hand/inspection tools

• Punch press setup or die change experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
