42West’s Rotational PR Internship Program is a 16-week immersive program for college undergraduates who are interested in pursuing a career in Public Relations. The intern will spend a month with each 42West Department (Talent, Entertainment Marketing, Strategic Communications, and Fandoms & Franchises) where they will learn more about the different aspects of Public Relations, develop new professional skills, build a stronger network, and have the opportunity for hands-on experience in the field. Interns can participate in company events such as Lunch & Learns, networking events, and any other activities the company may host.


42West is looking for one LA (West Coast-based) student.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Brainstorm creative ideas to promote clients
  • Compile press clippings and update press kits
  • Write bios, press releases and pitches
  • Maintain media lists and databases
  • Prepare event materials
  • Attend client calls or meetings and participate in creative brainstorm sessions
  • Manage multiple projects at once, seek guidance as needed, meet deadlines and accurately communicate progress and deliverables to team


Qualification:

Candidate for a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, communication, marketing, or a related field. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time-management skills, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Must be able to work at least 25 hours a week.
