The Department of Public Health and Health Sciences in the Dennis R. DePerro School of Health Professions at St.Bonaventure University invites applications for afull-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty positionat the rank of either Assistant, Associate, or Full Professorin Public Health and Health Science. We seek qualified candidates with strong teaching and research experience in one or more of the following areas: i) Epidemiology; ii)Population Health; iii) Health Education and Community Health; iv) Implementation Science.
The successful candidate will join a growing and mission-driven academic community committed to preparing compassionate, skilled, and socially responsible health professionals. Faculty in the School of Health Professions work collaboratively across programs to advance student learning, research, and community engagement, with an emphasis on expanding access to health care in rural and underserved communities.
Teaching Load:
The standard teaching work load is 12 credit hours per semester (or equivalent), with adjustments made for faculty who have assigned research, administrative, or externally funded responsibilities that provide release time. Preferred teaching areas include courses such as Research Methods and Epidemiology, as well as advanced public health topics aligned with the candidate's expertise and departmental needs.
