Under the direction of the Facility Operations Supervisor, the Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of recreation facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and supporting various activities and programs. This role requires strong independent judgment and initiative.Under the direction of the Facility Operations Supervisor.

Support the Full-Time Manager on Duty with daily operational tasks, including cash
reconciliation, room configuration changes, and responding to management-on-duty
calls.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively, both in person and over
the phone.
Develop proficiency in RecTrac software through provided training.
Prepare event spaces for meetings, classes, programs, and reservations, which includes
the physical setup and breakdown of tables and chairs.
Proactively anticipate and address guest needs, resolving problems and complaints
calmly and efficiently.
Work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by
facility operations.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility during reservations, classes, and
programs.
Exercise initiative and professional judgment in all aspects of duty performance.
Provide direct assistance to the Facility Operations Supervisor with various
administrative and operational tasks.
Assume responsibility for safety protocols and emergency response during critical
situations.
Undergo comprehensive training in other operational areas to enhance overall facility
management capabilities.
Must be flexible and available to work late evening, weekend, and holiday
shifts.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with staff and the public.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention
to detail.
Proven ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
