Join our client’s dynamic, interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing top-quality behavioral health care to the IDD patient population. In this role, you’ll perform outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Position: Part-Time Psychiatrist 
• Location: Brookville & Freeport (one site per day) 
• Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, flexible hours 
• Compensation: $145-$160 per hour 
• Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses 
• Prescribe and manage medication treatments 
• Collaborate with families and caregivers when appropriate
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and PPE guidelines

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification and NY State licensure
• 24 CME credits every 2 years
• Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification
• Experience with IDD/ASD populations is a plus
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing
• Familiarity with EHR systems (ECW experience a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
