- Position: Psychiatrist – PROS and OASAS
- Location: Suffolk County- Long Island , NY
- Salary Range: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00
- Type: Full-Time
- Reports to: Chief Medical Officer – Medical / Senior Director of Clinical Services – Administrative

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychiatric assessments and treatments to individuals participating in PROS and OASAS programs.
- Supervise and support Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff.
- Develop and oversee medication management, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as Methadone.
- Participate in integrated treatment planning, clinical meetings, and staff development.
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with outside providers and agencies.
- Offer coverage and support for various clinical programs, including ACT Teams.
- Maintain proficiency with agency IT systems and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed physician in New York State, with certification or eligibility from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Valid NY State driver’s license and clearance from the NYS Office of Mental Health.
- Experience in psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and clinical supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of community resources and evidence-based practices.
