TriMED Integrative psychiatry
Frisco, TX

Frisco, Texas | Full-Time

Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 + performance bonus

What if your next role allowed you to practice psychiatry the way you trained to — with time for patients, advanced treatment tools, and a physician-led team focused on outcomes rather than volume?

TriMED Integrative Psychiatry & Sleep Medicine is a growing outpatient practice specializing in depression, anxiety, and complex mood disorders, including treatment-resistant depression.

Our clinical model integrates:

  • Evidence-based psychopharmacology
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Spravato® (Esketamine) therapy
  • Ketamine therapy
  • Measurement-based care
  • Integrative and metabolic psychiatry approaches

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who wants to build expertise in interventional psychiatry and advanced mood disorder treatment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 depending on experience

Performance Bonus: Production-based bonus opportunity

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off
  • Annual CME allowance
  • Structured training in TMS, Spravato®, and interventional psychiatry

Clinicians who develop strong expertise in treatment-resistant depression and interventional psychiatry will have opportunities for additional income and expanded clinical scope within the practice.

Why Clinicians Join TriMED

Most psychiatric NPs leave positions because of burnout, excessive patient volume, and lack of mentorship.

Our practice was intentionally designed differently.

At TriMED you will have:

  • Direct collaboration with an experienced psychiatrist
  • Dedicated medical assistant support
  • Reasonable patient volumes with protected documentation time
  • Weekly case discussions and clinical collaboration
  • Structured training and mentorship in interventional psychiatry

We are building a team of clinicians who want to master the craft of psychiatry and improve outcomes for patients with difficult mood disorders.

This is not a high-volume medication management clinic.

We prioritize thoughtful care and measurable outcomes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat outpatient psychiatric patients with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders
  • Manage complex psychopharmacology treatment plans
  • Use measurement-based care (PHQ-9, GAD-7, outcome tracking)
  • Participate in interventional psychiatry programs, including:
  • TMS patient evaluation and monitoring
  • Spravato REMS-compliant workflows
  • Ketamine therapy coordination
  • Provide brief therapeutic interventions during medication visits when appropriate
  • (CBT-informed techniques, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation)
  • Participate in collaborative case discussions and treatment planning

Training in Interventional Psychiatry

You do not need prior experience with TMS or Spravato.

We provide structured training including shadowing, supervised ramp-up, and physician mentorship so clinicians can develop proficiency in:

  • TMS treatment
  • Spravato therapy
  • Ketamine protocols
  • Treatment-resistant depression care pathways

Candidates must be genuinely interested in learning interventional psychiatry and neuroplasticity-based treatments.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified PMHNP-BC
  • Minimum 2 years outpatient psychiatry experience
  • Active Texas APRN license and DEA
  • Strong psychopharmacology skills
  • Patient-centered communication style
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a physician-led practice

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience treating treatment-resistant depression
  • Prior exposure to TMS, Spravato, or ketamine therapy
  • Interest in integrative or metabolic psychiatry
  • Comfort managing higher-acuity outpatient psychiatric patients

For clinicians with these interests, there may be opportunities to expand clinical scope within our integrative and metabolic psychiatry programs.
