Protein Purification Scientist

Our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA is seeking a lab-based Scientist to join their growing Biologics Discovery Group in Spring House, PA. They will be collaborating with their team of dynamic and innovative scientists in Biologics Discovery, you will be responsible for advancing the most cutting-edge biologics medicines to the clinic. In this role, you will leverage a variety of robotic platforms and protein purification technologies along with the highest quality and rigor to invent and deliver innovative therapeutic candidates. Primary responsibilities include:

• Plan, execute, and continuously refine high‑throughput protein expression workflows to support scalable production of multi‑specific biotherapeutic candidates
• Support experimental design, execution, data analysis, and documentation
• Design high‑throughput protein purification and distribution workflows to support downstream screening activities.
• Operate and optimize automated sample preparation and distribution platforms to enable efficient, reproducible delivery of assay‑ready materials.
• Collaborate and communicate with other scientists in a multifaceted and dynamic research environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field
• Protein purification experience
• Experience with chromatography techniques for protein purification
• Hands-on aseptic cell culture experience
• Experience maintaining a laboratory notebook

Salary: $80,000-$95,000 (flexible based on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Hiring Method: 6 month contract with a high likelihood of extension

PTO: 8 PTO days & paid Holidays

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
