Accountant – Financial Reporting

Location: Radnor, PA (Hybrid Schedule)

A stable and highly respected organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This position offers exposure to financial reporting, analysis, audit support, and strategic initiatives within a collaborative environment. This opportunity is well-suited for a public accounting professional looking to transition into industry or an accounting professional pursuing or recently obtaining their CPA designation.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Support external audit activities, including schedules, supporting documentation, and financial statement disclosures
  • Perform account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis
  • Review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support investment, treasury, and partnership-related reporting functions
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership
  • Research and document accounting policies and emerging accounting standards
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancements
  • Assist with cash management reporting and related reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory documents under Controller’s supervision.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA designation or active pursuit of certification
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP or general ledger systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
