Position Overview:As a mid-to-senior member of our team, you'll lead and execute environmental compliance projects with oversight from senior staff, mentor junior colleagues, and serve as a key technical contributor on Permian Basin soil and groundwater investigations. You'll have real ownership over your projects while benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee multiple concurrent projects focused on soil and groundwater site investigations and remedial actionsManage field teams conducting soil sampling, excavation oversight, and groundwater monitoring programs for oil and gas clientsMaintain project schedules and budgets, coordinating with CDH staff and technical leadsPrepare reports, deliverables, and regulatory submittals in accordance with client objectivesMentor and develop junior staffRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field6+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years of project managementHands-on experience conducting site investigations and delineating contaminated soil and groundwater in the Permian BasinWorking knowledge of oil and gas processes and regulations in the Permian BasinAbility to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and requirementsExperience applying field safety processes and proceduresMust be local to the Carlsbad/Hobbs, NM or Midland, TX area Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience with Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) RegulationsProfessional license (PE or PG)Why CDH Consulting:We offer competitive hourly compensation, paid time off, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental compliance projects while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
