Job Title: Project Scheduler
Job Description

This role involves coordinating team activities and supporting Project Managers. You will perform scheduling and tracking for major projects with minimal supervision. The position requires planning, scheduling, integrating, updating, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules independently. You will maintain security, reporting, and operation of systems and software, and develop status reports for management teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, communicative, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Define activities, durations, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop plans and milestones.
  • Ensure all scope and deliverables are accounted for and meet internal standards.
  • Develop fully integrated system schedules, including resource loading and leveling, for complex projects.
  • Organize and lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders, providing clear minutes and action items.
  • Communicate schedule status and lead the administration of project management standards.
  • Use best practices to update progress, acquire information, and maintain schedules.
  • Prepare and analyze metrics reports or KPIs.
  • Mentor and train junior-level schedulers.
  • Perform schedule and cost integration and recommend 'What-If' schedules to address problems.
Essential Skills
  • Primavera P6 scheduling experience, with 3 years of recent use.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ability to develop complex spreadsheets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified degrees in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • With a High School Diploma or GED, 6 years of qualified experience is required.
  • With an Associate's degree, 4 years of qualified experience is required.
  • With a Bachelor's degree, 2 years of qualified experience is required.
  • Experience in utility-specific operations, planning, project management, or construction.
Work Environment

The position is onsite requiring 5 days a week in the office, with possible travel to job sites if needed. The role involves light physical duties at various work sites, including construction site walkdowns on unstable surfaces, climbing ladders, and awareness of hazardous conditions. The candidate should be available for overtime and shift work as required.

This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
