Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Project Manager in Westampton, NJ area!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary coordinator for day‑to‑day project execution, ensuring alignment between internal teams and customer expectations through clear communication and timely decision‑making.
- Act as the primary customer point of contact during execution, leading project meetings and documenting decisions, risks, and action items.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules and milestone plans across engineering, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, shipping, installation, and final acceptance; monitor progress and proactively manage critical‑path items.
- Lead cross‑functional project meetings and drive action‑item ownership and closure across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Service teams.
- Coordinate customer responsibilities and readiness planning to minimize execution risk and prevent delays, including installation sequencing, site requirements, contractor coordination, and timeline alignment.
- Manage project execution against contractual scope by identifying technical, supplier, manufacturing capacity, customer readiness, logistics, and export risks; develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues as required.
- Support change management by coordinating impact assessments related to cost, schedule, performance, and deliverables, and facilitating formal internal and customer approvals.
- Support the planning and execution of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), ensuring completion of documentation and successful customer sign‑off.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience supporting or managing complex projects within industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments, such as capital equipment, engineered‑to‑order systems, automation, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional execution across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and/or Field Service organizations.
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, clearly document outcomes, and drive accountability for action‑item closure.
- Experience collaborating with multinational and geographically distributed teams on complex projects.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, read and understand CAD drawings, and effectively partner with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience utilizing project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or comparable Gantt‑based software.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.
- Ability to work with U.S. Export Controlled products, processes, and information in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required, primarily domestically, with occasional international travel.
