Project Manager

Project Manager (Mid-Level) – Contract-to-Hire (12–24 months)

Location: Hybrid (3 onsite / 2 remote) Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Overview:

Seeking a Project Manager to support transmission interconnection and renewable energy (solar & wind) projects. Role involves managing transmission/substation upgrades and PJM-related initiatives from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project lifecycle (planning to closeout)
• Oversee construction and conduct site visits
• Handle budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with teams, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of project management experience
• Background in utilities, power delivery, or construction
• Experience with transmission, substations (distribution a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Engineering degree
• PMP certification
• Utility or EPC experience
