Our client in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end project execution, from initiation through closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including operations, IT, supply chain, legal, corporate communications, and other stakeholders
- Track project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and delays
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives
- Manage vendor relationships and external partners, when applicable
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of project management or project coordination experience (non‑IT)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Lucidchart, or similar, and exposure to Microsoft Copilot
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations, or a related field
- Experience working with utilities and/or customer service teams
- Familiarity with contract development
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (preferred, not required)
- MPM, MBA, or related master’s degree (preferred, not required)
