Project Manager / Estimator - Bidding

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project estimates and identify projects to pursue.
  • Coordinate and oversee construction projects from bid process to finish.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Collaborate with owners, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Review and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety standards.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Proven experience in project estimating and construction management.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, estimating, and bidding processes.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software such as HCSS or similar programs.
  • Familiarity with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, and other design software for reviewing schematics and plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
