Salary: $62 - $68 per hour + Per diem or Relocation packages (when applicable)
Schedule: 4/10 with expected overtime (Graveyard Shift may be required)

COMPA Industries is hiring Project Manager / Construction Superintendents to support major projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. These roles support construction and facility upgrades inside one of the nation’s most critical nuclear facilities.

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for this role:
- Nuclear experience is required – applications without direct nuclear project experience will not be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction or engineering-related experience.
- Must be able and willing to work graveyard shifts.
- Ability to acquire a DOE Q Clearance
What You’ll Do
- Lead construction projects valued up to $500K within LANL facilities
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget performance using EVMS and project controls
- Coordinate craft teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful execution
- Conduct constructability reviews and field oversight during project execution
- Identify project risks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and nuclear facility requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project management
- Experience working in nuclear, DOE, or highly regulated industrial environments
- Demonstrated leadership managing field teams and complex projects
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
Position Details
- Location: Los Alamos National Laboratory – TA-55
- Schedule: 4x10 schedule with potential overtime
- Duration: 1-year assignment with extensions possible (up to 5 years)
- Environment: On-site construction within nuclear facility operations
- Clearance: Active DOE Q Clearance required
