Job Title: Application Migration Project Manager
Location: Hybrid Ft Washington PA (onsite as needed, approximately 1–2x per month)

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced IT Project Managers to support a large‑scale enterprise initiative focused on migrating hundreds of on‑prem application servers to a public cloud environment by early 2027. This role supports an active, multi‑year migration program that has recently moved from planning into execution, with pilot waves already underway.
Project Managers will own delivery for a defined application domain and will support multiple migration waves concurrently, working closely with internal teams and external migration partners.
Must Haves
- Senior‑level experience managing medium‑ to large‑scale IT projects, including: Application‑to‑cloud migrations, Data center migrations or exits, etc
- Direct experience leading application‑level cloud migrations, serving as the primary PM accountable for individual applications or application portfolios (not exclusively infrastructure‑led migrations)
- Strong understanding of cloud migration concepts, including lift‑and‑shift approaches, application cutover planning, and post‑migration stabilization (hands‑on technical execution performed by vendors)
- Demonstrated experience building and managing detailed application migration and cutover runbooks, including hour‑by‑hour execution planning
- Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and risks across large, matrixed environments, including: Application owners and SMEs, Infrastructure, network, firewall, cloud, and architecture teams, Cross‑application and shared‑services dependencies, etc
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong project governance experience
- Experience working closely with external vendors and system integrators (e.g., Accenture or similar partners)
- Comfort operating in a hands‑on PM role, serving as the coordinating bridge between vendors and internal application owners
