Project Manager

CB Partners is supporting a construction contractor in the search for a Project Manager to take ownership of civil and infrastructure work. This individual will guide projects from early planning through final delivery, with responsibility for financial performance, scheduling, and overall execution. Success in this role requires a hands‑on leader who can effectively direct project teams while maintaining cost control and driving projects to completion.
What You’ll Do
- Own projects from early planning through final delivery, ensuring smooth execution at every phase
- Maintain accountability for project budgets, timelines, and overall financial performance
- Track and analyze job costs, forecasts, and project financials to support informed decision‑making
- Direct and coordinate on‑site teams while effectively managing subcontractors and vendors
- Review labor activity, time reporting, and key project documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Uphold contractual obligations, project specifications, and safety expectations across all workstreams
- Proactively address risks, schedule challenges, and cost variances before they impact outcomes
- Provide regular updates to internal partners and clients on progress, milestones, and issues
- Assist with procurement planning, scheduling, and allocation of labor and resources
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in project management within civil construction or utilities
- Strong knowledge of job costing, budgeting, and scheduling
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Experience & Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
