Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale 345 kV transmission line project valued at approximately $100M. This role will focus on field coordination, client interface, and execution oversight within a multi crew construction environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder coordination across both internal teams and external partners. This is a high visibility role supporting an important client in an EPC driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project execution for a large-scale transmission project
- Coordinate activities across multiple construction crews and disciplines, including transmission and foundation teams
- Serve as a primary client facing representative, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders
- Interface with EPC partner and utility client teams
- Ensure adherence to project schedule, documentation, and reporting requirements
- Drive accountability and performance across field teams and subcontractors
- Maintain high standards of organization, documentation, and attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership including Construction Manager, VP of Operations, Divisional President, and COO
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on transmission line projects (preferred 230 kV+; 345 kV strongly preferred)
- Strong background in utility or EPC environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and field operations simultaneously
- Excellent client facing communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Strong computer skills (reporting, tracking, coordination tools)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure project environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale transmission projects ($50M+)
- Prior experience supporting or interfacing with EPC firms
