Optomi, in partnership with a leader in technology innovation, is looking for a Project Manager to join the StudioLAB team. As a Project Manager, you will play a core role in the implementation and execution of our Lab, a hands-on showroom demonstrating the latest in production technology innovation. You will be part of the StudioLAB team, joining a group of innovators within the Office of Technology Enablement. This team consists of multi-skilled individuals with broad experience across various specialisms and industries, collectively capable of prototyping and delivering Studios-centric software, hardware, new kinds of content and experiences, and new lines of cinematic-related business. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Technology Innovation.

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

  • Maintain project backlogs, task lists, and roadmaps for the Lab’s internal development
  • Work with PMs in adjacent teams to synchronize inter-dependent tasks across multiple programs
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain planning tools regarding development activities
  • Facilitate, organize, and run meetings, planning sessions, discussions, and reviews
  • Capture and manage follow-up tasks from meetings and verbal discussions
  • Develop and maintain overall program schedule and resource requirements
  • Communicate regularly and reliably to wider team and peers via regular check-in meetings, email, and other collaboration systems
  • Identify blockers and impediments, and raise to leadership
