Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our team in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, or Nevada. In this role, you will primarily support the mining sector to design and implement site characterization efforts, analyze data, and develop conceptual models to help progress projects through site investigation, remedial evaluation, and toward closure. The successful candidate will work with project teams to establish data needs, evaluate available information, and deliver key projects to exceed client expectations. Work will include a balance of hydrogeologic evaluation, project scoping and proposal development, and report writing.
Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate will work remotely and from the office based on demands of project and client teams. Role accountabilities:
In this role, you will apply your technical knowledge to support a range of environmental projects. You will be responsible for the development and planning of hydrogeologic investigations, including aquifer parameter estimation, groundwater-surface water interaction evaluation, groundwater fate and transport evaluation, analytical and/or numerical groundwater modeling, and conceptual site model development. You will also be responsible for preparing work planning documents and data summary reports and interacting with diverse project teams that span technical disciplines and geographies.
Other key responsibilities will include team building, mentoring junior staff, and supporting project and account growth by identifying technical solutions and developing teams to address project needs. The ability to communicate effectively with Arcadis staff and project managers and assemble resources to deliver projects will drive success in this role.
This role will primarily be office based but will also include field assignments. This role will require the ability to travel up to 10%.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88,580 - $132,870.
Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
