Appleone is looking for a skilled and driven Estimator/Project Manager to join our clients team. In this role, you will play a key part in the pre-construction and bidding process, helping bring projects to life through accurate cost estimating, strategic planning, and effective collaboration.

This position is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys both the analytical and leadership sides of project delivery. You will work closely with project managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors to develop reliable estimates, identify opportunities for cost savings, and ensure projects are positioned for success from the very beginning.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction estimating and project management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the estimating team to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.
Organize, research, and analyze data to develop conceptual and detailed project estimates, pricing strategies, and bid schedules.
Develop and maintain cost control measures to support project budgets and financial goals.
Solicit and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive material and service costs.
Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) during the bidding process.
Present and defend project estimates to clients and stakeholders, negotiating as needed.
Participate in weekly construction department meetings and project scheduling discussions.
Track estimating performance metrics and report insights to senior management.
