Project Director

Kitchell is seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This employee-owner will establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and design teams; recruit, hire, train and develop Kitchell employees to their fullest potential; and take a lead role in business development, proposals, presentations, estimates, bids, and contract negotiations for assigned projects and clients throughout the Tucson metro area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with and train assigned staff to comply with Kitchell procedures, strategic and long term goals.
• Participate in development and implementation of Kitchell's strategic and long term
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Kitchell employees to their fullest potential. Conduct goal setting, performance, and salary reviews on a (minimum) annual
• Monitor budget and operating plan for compliance with staff and
• Maintain leadership role in Preconstruction Services on assigned

Education and Experience

• Four year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related
• In addition to the education, this job classification requires a minimum of fifteen years of experience in project management
• Direct experience building and managing projects

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of development, construction, architecture, real estate, and marketing

Travel Requirement

• Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.
