Our work includes preparation of proposals, reports, presentations, posters, workshop materials, journal submissions, and other documents that require formatting and production. Our staff also need assistance with operational functions such as procurement, travel, on-and-off boarding, conference planning, and timecards. SRI Education is seeking a Project Coordinator II to provide a wide variety of support to staff in the Menlo Park, CA and Arlington, VA offices, as well as satellite offices. A flexible work schedule with two or more days onsite in the Arlington, VA office with the balance from a home office.

Responsibilities

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Format high-quality reports, presentations, and proposals using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including styling, automated tables of contents, front/back matter, and data visualizations (charts, tables, graphics).
  • Support the coordination of proposal, presentation, and report development for professional staff, including working from templates, incorporating editorial revisions from draft materials, and collaborating with production staff.
  • Support proposals teams with resume collection, final formatting, compliance reviews, and uploading final documents for routing and final submission.
  • Oversee and support Arlington office operations and events, including candidate interviews, onboarding/offboarding processes, meeting logistics, supply organization, and other needed tasks like copying, scanning, and file storage.
  • Support document remediation/508 compliance, comprehensive training will be provided as needed.

Secondary job responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and problem-solve matters related to SRI systems and support such as procurement, travel, timecards, meeting/office space, and virtual meetings.
  • Assist staff with monitoring and training in the use of corporate online systems
  • Assist and monitor submission of forms including timecards, travel expense reports, bid and proposal applications, and purchase orders.
  • Grow professionally and develop new skills through ongoing embedded mentorship and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Capacity to support multiple tasks simultaneously and change focus as priorities shift through use of strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and ensure high quality through attention to details and requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
  • Expert knowledge formatting documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; ability to create and edit charts and sheets in Excel; experience using Adobe Acrobat; desire to learn new software skills.
  • Experience in SharePoint is a plus.
  • Experience in creating 508 compliant documents is a plus.
  • Multimedia production experience is a plus
  • Ability to adapt communication styles to engage effectively with diverse personalities and cross-functional partners across multiple time zones.

The salary range is: $30.71-$40.69/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
