Project Coordinator (Technical)
Work Location: 12. S. Ft. Harrison Ave, Clearwater, FL, 33756
Schedule: Hybrid remote (up to 2 nonconsecutive days per week) and flexible schedule within the core hours, per County policy.
Performs professional technical work coordinating complex projects; provides expertise in one or more technical areas associated with environmentally related engineering, science, permitting, and project management assignments; takes principal responsibility for projects; performs as a project administrator, leader, or may supervise; coordinates and monitors projects from initiation through delivery; ensures targets and requirements are met; ensures that work meets technical and other agency requirements; coordinates with other County staff, subject matter experts, consultants/contractors, municipalities, and public agencies to ensure the successful completion of projects and assignments; may also perform monitoring and reporting of projects/programs.

What Do You Need to Have?
Experience/Education:
Eight (8) years of technical and professional experience in engineering, environmental science, or a related field that includes one (1) year of lead worker or supervisory training; or
An Associate's degree as described above and six (6) years of experience as described above; or
A Bachelor’s degree as described above and four (4) years of experience as described above; or
A Master’s degree as described above. and two (2) years of experience as described above; or
An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Assignment to work a variety of work schedules, including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations.
