Project Coordinator - Design Services
Sterling Heights, MI
$42.28 - $48.80/Hour
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of models, drawings, and Technical Data Packages (TDPs), including creation, review, approval, release, and updates.
- Maintain current and accessible engineering data within Teamcenter PLM.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure models and drawings meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor model and drawing status, report progress to project stakeholders, and identify risks related to documentation control.
- Review and update drafting standards and TDP requirements.
- Provide Teamcenter support and training to project team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation and configuration management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, document control, configuration management, or engineering data management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
- Experience with CAD tools such as CREO or NX preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with ground-based military vehicles preferred.
- Ability to support a fast-paced environment and manage multiple documentation priorities.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
