As a part of the GCC UK Air Quality team, the primary function and duties include:

  • Assist Project Managers and Project Directors in fulfilling contracted project management obligations throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion including opportunity governance and pricing, budget creation and change management and working capital management making effective contributions to project management processes, regardless of project scale or complexity. 
  • Responsible for correctly updating project data monthly within WSP’s project management Oracle based system.
  • Supporting PMs/PDs with Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates, progress reporting, and Earned Value insights
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance metrics by applying tools and procedures that contribute to successful project delivery. 
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision by planning and prioritizing work to ensure scope of service obligations are met. 
  • Champion excellent health and safety practices to achieve safe, sustainable, and efficient outcomes that meet agreed objectives. 
  • Proactively identify and highlight threats to progress and scope of service obligations. 
  • Prepare monthly reports, meeting minutes, and other management documentation to support successful delivery including the monitoring and updating of project schedules and progress against milestones.
  • Assist in developing project management documentation, including project management plans, cost estimates and forecasts, risk registers, project schedules, and stakeholder registers. 
  • Undertake information management activities via industry-standard Common Data Environments such as SharePoint and ProjectWise. 
  • Work with multi-disciplinary environmental project teams consisting of technical and professional staff and suppliers. 
  • Assist in the administration of supplier contracts.
