MIGSO-PCUBED is looking for an experienced and passionate Project Management Consultant with industry experience to join our team and support our engagements. This position will be hybrid with 2-3 days a week in Zebulon, NC.

What You’ll Do


As a Project Management Consultant, you will work within our global team of Project Management Consultants to deliver value. You will engage with key stakeholders and represent the MP brand. This role will have a strong focus on client delivery, with the opportunity to vary your experience and support our top engagements as part of our NY hub. Your responsibilities will be to:


  • Lead the project controls team and ensure robust schedule and progress management, cost management, change management, risk management and contract administration are performed to Customer requirements
  • Agree on reporting strategy with the PM, central Project Controls and Finance
  • Ensure all project and central reporting is provided in good time and with good quality, including steering reporting and reporting to GCP.
  • Provide explanation of reports including cashflow S-curve, change waterfall charts, etc.
  • Ensure the project controls processes on the project are robust including reliable source of data and information is used, processing of data is correct and aim to be free of errors, and output is reliable and can be used to guide project monitoring and inform decision making
  • Provide data analysis and more importantly provide foresight on impact of any cost and schedule deviation
  • Provide information, reports to above site functions (for instance Global Capital Project) and monitor KPIs
  • Ensure project compliance with the Customer’s financial rules, Project Management Framework(PMF) and the Customer’s ways of working
  • Review and interrogate information reported by others and conduct deep dives and error finding when needed:

Cost: review cashflow, invoice, commitment, contingencies, lead cost deep dive as requested and QCRA

Cost estimate: (applicable to project up to scheme design) ensure estimate are done

Schedule: review critical path, schedule content, ensure delay is analyzed and impact understood, ensure buffer is included and managed, lead interactive planning session and QSRA

Change: ensure all changes are captured and impact known and understood, ensure all changes are monitored and impact on contingencies or allowance is known

Risk: ensure risk are identified and managed adequately with a response

  • Understand the contractual clauses related to contract value and payments due, including gain-and-pain share with contractors where needed
  • Ensure adequate governance and meeting are in place to ensure control (example but not limited to: tier meeting, schedule, cost, Steering)
  • Ensure suitably qualified and competent resources are in place
  • Lead the control team and ensure disciplines’ deliverables are produced
  • Ensure PMF tool are used
  • Follow and support the Customer’s assurance process including self-inspection, Health Checks, Reviews and audits
  • Provide information and support project Gate Reviews
  • Coordinate project team and liaise with and support LPCD to meet Gate Review requirements and organize reviews following health checks on

Who You Are


You should hold a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's degree. For this position, we are looking for someone with 7 to 10 years of experience with project controls experience.


Ideally, you hold a PMP certification.
